Volunteer Service Areas:


Fundraising and Events

Help with ACE Fundraising activities, to further the means necessary to keep our poverty-fighting programs and initiatives thriving. Coordinate and launch community, or organizational, events that connect and mobilize our community.



Youth Engagement/ Supportblank

Youth Engagement and Support volunteers participate in a variety of activities that help our young people achieve their personal and academic goals. Activities include but are not limited to tutoring, advocacy, post-secondary preparation, and extracurriculars.



blankCommunity Engagement/ Outreach

Our Community Engagement Ambassadors take part in activities that inform and unite a variety of stakeholders, including community residents, community organizations, as well as government officials and their corresponding agencies. Activities include, but are not limited to, partaking in awareness campaigns, developing community and partner relationships, and educating community members who are in need of our services.


Capacity Development


Capacity development volunteers extend ACE’s reach by strengthening its skills, resources, and abilities so that it can continue to empower underserved communities. Capacity development volunteers collaborate with staff, and other volunteers, on projects improving organizational infrastructure and systems. Fields of capacity development include, but are not limited to, program development, infrastructure additions, resource development, project management,  as well as overall strategy development. blankOperations Support

Operational support volunteers assist ACEs day-to-day administrative and facilities functions, that keep the organization running. These activities include but are not limited to, youth intake, data entry, office management, and as well as on-site beautification.




Age Restrictions

Due to insurance requirements, volunteers must be at least 18 years of age for most of our volunteer opportunities. Review the volunteer descriptions to see position age requirements
